If your slime is sticky, do the following:
- add 1 cup of warm water to the white borax powder that's included.
- Stir until dissolved.
- Add this borax solution to the slime a teaspoon at a time, and keep adding until you've reached your desired texture.
If your slime is too tough, do one of the following:
- Let it sit for a couple of weeks (depending on how tough it is).
- Add a small amount of vegetable glycerin at a time to make your slime more stretchy.
Add a few pumps of lotion at a time to soften up your slime up.
Note: Don't add lotion to your clear slime because it will make your slime a little opaque.
If you get slime on your carpet, blanket, rug, clothes, in your hair, or some other place, do one of the following:
- Use a small amount of vinegar to dissolve the slime.
- If you don't have vinegar, you can use a small amount of lemon juice to dissolve the slime.
- If you don't have vinegar or lemon juice you can try to use some hot water to dissolve the slime.
Note: If you get slime in your hair, don't use vinegar because it will damage your roots, instead you can either use lemon juice or hot water to dissolve the slime.
